Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and smile. While general dentistry treats health and function, cosmetic dentistry is about enhancing aesthetics, helping you achieve a brighter, straighter, more confident smile. Many treatments improve function too.

Common cosmetic dental treatments include:

  • Teeth Whitening – Brightens stained or discolored teeth for a fresher look.

  • Veneers – Thin, custom shells bonded to the front of teeth to fix shape, color, or gaps.

  • Bonding – Tooth-colored resin applied to repair chips, cracks, or reshape teeth.

  • Crowns – Caps that restore the shape, size, and appearance of damaged teeth.

  • Clear Aligners – Discreet trays (like Invisalign) that straighten crooked teeth.

  • Dental Implants – Replace missing teeth with natural-looking, permanent results.

Whether you're looking to fix a single tooth or transform your entire smile, cosmetic dentistry offers a range of options to fit your needs and goals.

FAQ

FAQ

  • Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and smile. Common treatments include teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, crowns, clear aligners (like Invisalign), and dental implants. Many of these procedures enhance both the look and function of your teeth, helping you achieve a brighter, straighter, more confident smile.

  • Most people with healthy teeth and gums are good candidates. Cosmetic dentistry is ideal for anyone looking to fix stained, chipped, cracked, gapped, or crooked teeth. The best first step is a consultation, where your dentist can assess your oral health and recommend the right treatment for your goals.

  • It depends on the treatment and how well you care for your teeth. Teeth whitening may last several months to a few years, while veneers and crowns can last 10–15 years or more with proper care. Good oral hygiene, regular dental visits, and avoiding habits like smoking or staining foods help results last longer.

Veneers:

Thin, custom-made shells made of porcelain or composite material that cover the front surface of teeth to improve their color, shape, size, or alignment. They create a natural, flawless appearance and are ideal for correcting chips, discoloration, or uneven teeth.

Bonding:

A tooth-colored resin is applied and sculpted directly onto the tooth to repair minor imperfections such as chips, gaps, or discoloration. Dental bonding is a quick, minimally invasive procedure that enhances the tooth’s appearance and strength.

Teeth Whitening:

A safe and effective treatment that lightens tooth color and removes stains caused by food, beverages, or aging. Professional whitening provides more noticeable and longer-lasting results than over-the-counter options, restoring a bright, confident smile.
